CES 2022: we know the specifications of the second generation of the curved LG Flex!

Smartphone manufacturers have been looking for new technological solutions for some time now. One of them was to be "curved" devices. As part of the CES 2022 show in Las Vegas, Korean LG decided to unveil the Flex 2 – the technical specifications of the device have just been revealed.
Curved casing and screen are the main features of Flex series models. However, it is worth looking at the technical specifications of the new LG device. It will be one of the first smartphones to be equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor.

The processor will support 2 GB of DDR4 type RAM. On the other hand, the user will have 16 or 32 GB of built-in memory , which can be further expanded using memory cards (with a maximum capacity of 1 terabyte).
The device's screen has been reduced in size compared to its predecessor. LG Flex had a 6-inch display, and the new generation will be equipped with a screen 5,
inch, offering an image with a resolution of fullHD (made with proprietary P-OLED technology, similar to the display on the LG Watch R smartwatch). It is worth noting that the Korean manufacturer's engineers have taken care to adequately protect the display – the glass that will protect it is supposed to be 20% more durable than its predecessor.
Of course, a modern phone must offer a camera function. In this aspect, the new flagship from LG is unlikely to outperform currently available models. The main camera is a 13-megapixel lens, Provided with autofocus and optical image stabilization functions. This is most likely the same camera used in last year's LG G3. Of course, in the era of the craze for selfies, smatphone designers could not forget about the front camera.

This one, in turn, will allow you to take photos at maximum resolution 2.1 megapixel.
The Flex 2's specifications are rounded out by a standard-capacity battery 3000 mAh, that supports the function fast charging (charges to 50% in just 40 minutes). The case of the device in question is a lump of 149.1 x 75.3 x 7.1 – 9.4 mm and weighing 152 grams, Capable of "self-healing". In practice, this means that the Flex 2 will be able to mask minor scratches that appear on the case during its use.
LG Flex 2 should appear on the South Korean market by the end of January. It's not known when the device will make its debut in markets other than its native one. The launches in other countries are expected to take place in the following months.
