The Space App Camp, organized by the European Union-funded project – S2G2M2 (Sustainable Services for Copernicus and GNSS in Mobile and Mobility), will be held in the Netherlands in May already. If you are a developer and looking for a new experience, register today!
Where, when and why?
Space App Camp will be held in Noordwijk, next to Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, specifically at the European Space Agency’s Center Space Research and Technology (ESTEC). The organizer covers the cost of travel and a week’s stay. The Space App Camp will take place from May 5-12, 2022, and is a great opportunity to spend a week with people who share a similar mindset, as well as to learn how to integrate satellite data into mobile apps and to learn a little about how the European Space Agency works.
“Space” experience
During The Space App Camp, attendees will have access to satellite data created to help them develop apps in one of five categories of their choice: agriculture, emergency services management, environment, environment and maritime transportation, and lifestyle apps. The goal of the event is to create prototypes of applications for mobile devices that will use European satellite navigation and Earth observation programs.
